The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology consists of 6 pediatric gastroenterologists, 3 GI fellows, 2 dieticians and dedicated GI nursing and administrative support. The division provides inpatient services at Shands Children’s Hospital, ranked #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida in the 2022-2023 USNWR. Our nearly 8,000 annual outpatient clinics are rapidly growing and include specialty clinics such as liver transplant, eosinophilic esophagitis, cystic fibrosis, intestinal rehabilitation, and inflammatory bowel disease as part of Improve Care Now. These multidisciplinary clinics represent a strong and long-lasting collaboration with partners in pediatric surgery, pulmonary, OT, child psychology, and allergy.
