The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, Department of Medicine, Division of
Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in
our growing Sleep Medicine program. Appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing level of
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, based on qualifications.
Clinical responsibilities include treating patients with the full spectrum of sleep disorders,
including medical management and interpretation of sleep studies. Teaching responsibilities may
include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, as well as formal lectures. There are
also opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, and clinical or translational
research. UF Health operates a combined 8 bed Sleep Center accredited by the American
Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The UF Health Sleep Center operates seven nights per week
and features state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, including out of center testing between the
UF Health Jacksonville Downtown and North campuses.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine and be eligible for a
medical license in the state of Florida. Applicants with any combination of Pulmonary/Critical
Care/Sleep training are welcome to apply and clinical assignment would be identified based on
the applicant’s interest. We also welcome candidates with training in Neurology, Psychiatry,
Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine, prior to Sleep Medicine fellowship.
