Job Description: |

Provides administrative assistance to the Faculty, provides direct support to
faculty or management staff and coordinates specific office support tasks,
including managing a complex calendar, composing correspondence, and
developing presentations.

Organizes and performs all office and clerical functions including, but not limited
to, answering the telephone, taking and transcribing meeting minutes.

Ensures that requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate
faculty or staff member. As needed, interprets requests, helps implement action,
and decides who should be notified of important or emergency matters.

Ensures the scheduling in advance of adequate rooms, reservation and delivery
of needed equipment. Establishes or maintains unit filing systems and workflows.

Orders supplies and items as requested by Faculty, Manages event planning or
special administrative projects.

Submits and maintains times sheets as required for Division Chief and Assistant
Director.
- Assists with special projects as assigned (i.e., conferences and meetings)
