The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, seeks a full time faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to become TBI Program Director for the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be a BC/BE adult physiatrist with or without specialty training. The successful candidate is expected to participate in shared departmental clinical and teaching responsibilities. There are also opportunities to engage in scholarly research and advance in academic rank.
UFCOMJ is well-positioned to become a leader in PM&R services in Northeast Florida. It has a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Program with a large patient network through Northeast Florida. In addition, the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery are home to comprehensive multiple sclerosis, movement disorder, and spine programs, as well as an ALS Center of Excellence. The Department of Orthopedics has subspecialties in hand surgery, trauma, and sports, and has received nursing accreditation as a center of excellence in total hip and knee replacement.
The successful candidates will report to Dr. Ramon Bautista, Professor and Chair of Neurology and the Phyllis Sohn Endowed Chair in Neurosciences.
