Job Description:

Recruitment and operation management to support research projects: Recruit sites to participate in implementation studies focused on cancer clinical trial communication. Work closely with the research coordinator to manage training logistics with partnering institutions, including scheduling training sessions and ensuring that each session has adequate instructors, facilitators, patient educators, and standardized patients.

Curriculum development and refinement: Develop and adapt evidence-based curricular materials for oncology and primary care clinicians as needed and enhance previous materials. Develop training materials for both live and virtual delivery formats, including role-play scenarios, facilitator guides, and standardized patient integration. Work with E-learning, Technology, and Communications group in COE.

Evaluation: Develop and implement course evaluations using validated frameworks (e.g., Proctor’s Implementation Outcomes). Develop qualitative interview protocols. Oversee participant completion of evaluations and conduct data analysis.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Lead qualitative and mixed methods analyses and reporting for educational research studies. Lead manuscript writing and submission for publication, conference abstracts, and presentations at national conferences. Report to stakeholder groups (internal, external, and funder) on progress. Mentor junior team members in qualitative methodology, data interpretation, and writing.

Expected Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000

Required Qualifications:

A PhD in one of the following areas: communication, psychology, or a related discipline.

Preferred:

A PhD in one of the following areas: communication, psychology, or a related discipline.

Two years of postdoctoral research experience.

Demonstrate experience in cancer clinical trial education research.

Grant funding as PI
