| Job Description: |
In collaboration with the Spine Center’s Research Coordinator—and at times working independently—this position supports day-to-day clinical research activities within the Spine Program. The role contributes to the successful execution of clinical studies by assisting with participant identification, data collection, and coordination of research-related activities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Screen clinic schedules and medical records in Epic and other research platforms to identify potential clinical trial participants.

Administer Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) via MyChart or paper formats, as appropriate.

Support data collection, data coordination, and accurate data entry for ongoing clinical research studies.

Assist with scheduling and coordination of volunteers who shadow Spine Center physicians.

Support informed consent discussions in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

Assist with coordination, collection, and processing of research samples, as applicable.

Collaborate closely with research staff, clinical providers, and study teams to ensure smooth research operations.

Perform additional duties consistent with those of a Clinical Research Assistant or early-career Clinical Research Coordinator, as assigned.

| Expected Salary: |
$25.00 per Hour
|
| Required Qualifications: |
Associate’s degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

| Preferred: |
Prior research experience working with critically ill patients and their families.

ABILITIES - Ability to work well with faculty and staff at all levels and across multi-disciplinary teams - Capability to understand IRB, HIPAA, and research regulations
