Job Description:

The Department of Management in the Warrington College of Business (WCB) at the University of Florida is seeking a post-doctoral fellow for appointment in August 2026 to work on original research with Dr. Amir Erez and other faculty in the Department of Management on topics of Incivility and other dysfunctional work behaviors, emotions, cognitive and meta-cognitive processes in organization. The candidate will have opportunities to collaborate on research projects with faculty and doctoral students in the WCB while continuing to develop their own research projects under the departments’ guidance and mentorship. The selected candidate will be appointed for a two-year period and will teach three to four courses per year (graduate and undergraduate, covering courses such as organizational behavior and human resource management).

Expected Salary:

 Salary is competitive commensurate with education and experience. The range for a twelve-month period is: $75,000 - $85,000. There is also research funding available.

  1. This is a full-time position located on the main campus at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
  2. The candidate must have or anticipate receiving a Ph.D. in organizational behavior, psychology, or related fields of study before August 2026.
Preferred Qualifications:

Successful candidates are expected to have the following competencies:

  1. A strong background in experimental design and statistical analyses.
  2. Ability to manage and analyze complex data using R, Mplus, and SPSS.
  3. Ability to work independently and proactively as part of a research team.
