STU AST - Clerical and Admin

* Must have Federal Work Study award for Spring 2026
* Full-time student at University of Florida
* Advanced (third year or better) Russian
* Interest in History
* Familiarity with spreadsheets

The KGB Lab (https://kgb.lab.ufl.edu/) research group is seeking Russian Language Annotators. The annotators will be responsible for the following tasks: 
* Reviewing Soviet secret police files
* Generating structured data from police files in a spreadsheet and an annotation framework
* Transcribing handwritten Russian-language text
* Validating AI-generated data from police files
*Reporting to the Annotations Lead and lab director about the files. 

$20.00/hour

Qualifications refer to evidence-based or demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences required for the role. For TEAMS positions the required qualifications should reflect Classification Minimum Requirements.  For Faculty roles, these qualifications may reflect college-specific requirements needed for success the role.
