| Job Description: |
What You’ll Do
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee expenditures across multiple funds, reconcile receipts and deposits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clean subsidiary ledgers.
- Budget Analysis: Produce monthly fiscal snapshots for the Center Director, contribute to annual budget planning, and deliver forecasts that empower decision‑making.
- Billing & Invoicing Oversight: Manage chargebacks, vendor vouchers, and internal billing, ensuring adherence to policy and accuracy in every transaction.
- Systems & Asset Management: Administer specialized tools (space allocation, payroll – non‑grant, travel, foundation accounting), perform annual asset certification, and advise on fiscal procedures.
- Purchasing & Vendor Coordination: Guide procurement activities, approve travel reimbursements, and troubleshoot purchasing issues in collaboration with central offices.
- Policy & Staff Support: Champion fiscal policies, train team members, and promote consistent accounting practices across the Center.

$53,000 commensurate with education and experience.

| Required Qualifications: |
- Requires strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
- Key responsibilities include policy development, fiscal and purchasing operations, internal audit readiness, and confidentiality of employee and student data.
- Monetary responsibility for monitoring UF accounts across multiple funds; errors can have significant consequences.
- Valid Driver's license is required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and a knack for critical thinking.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
