Classification Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.

Job Description:

Reviewing and approving RPP Study Fund Requests - Reviews and approves SFR’s for accuracy. Reviews the chartfield string to determine if it is accurately reported and is usable, checks budget availability, and confirms the request is not unreasonable with the IRB study. Distributes the correct payment type to the custodians of the requests for distribution.  This includes preparing custodian receipt and responsibility statements, scheduling and coordinating pickup times with custodians.

Customer Support - Maintains the Salesforce shared emails and assigning tickets to the appropriate individuals.  Responds to customer questions in a timely manner and provides appropriate follow-up or escalation as needed. Ensures questions and issues are resolved in a satisfactory manner.  Proactively communicates with customers when needed. Investigates issues with payment types for participants when needed.  Acts as the primary contact person for phone calls from customers.

Customer Training - Assists with customer training and other resources for the Research Participant Payment system.

Receiving Payment Card Types - Checks-in and receives prepaid debit cards and gift cards. Activates gift card batches and e-gift cards, prepares the other documentation detailing allocation of gift cards, prepaid debit card, and e-cards to specific research studies.

This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office.  Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers; to understand and apply applicable University, State and Federal rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to the Research Participant Payment system.  Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and orally; utilize problem solving techniques and to work independently.
