The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is recruiting a radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Primary clinical responsibilities will be based at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
This position will provide comprehensive coverage in Musculoskeletal Radiology within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands is a Level I Trauma Center and major referral center with full subspecialty representation and advanced imaging capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpretation of musculoskeletal imaging across all modalities
- Performance of image-guided musculoskeletal procedures
- Participation in inpatient and outpatient clinical services
- Teaching and supervision of residents and fellows
- Participation in call coverage
- Engagement in scholarly activity, which is supported and encouraged
Musculoskeletal radiologists primarily practice at a free-standing outpatient center supporting busy Orthopedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Upper Extremity, and Joint Reconstruction programs, with frequent face-to-face collaboration with orthopedic faculty.
Gainesville, with a metropolitan population of approximately 350,000, is home to one of the nation’s leading public universities and a major Division I athletic program.
