OPS Technical Infrastructure Coordinator

• Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Configure and manage GitHub organization, repositories, and access controls for student project teams
• Set up and document workflows for AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
• Implement project management platforms (Trello, Jira, or similar) and establish standard workflows
• Create documentation and templates for development best practices, code reviews, and deployment processes
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Ensure compliance with UF IT policies and security standards
• Provide technical onboarding support for student teams and faculty advisors

$20 per hour

• Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Strong experience with Git/GitHub including organization management, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows
• Familiarity with modern development tools and IDEs
• Experience with project management tools and Agile methodologies
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Previous experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
