The UF Innovation Academy (IA) is looking for an interested graduate or an undergraduate student who would like to assist in developing graphic elements for the Innovation Academy. The Innovation Academy office provides support for prospective and current students in IA. Projects and responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:
Align event/program UF IA branding across different event materials with the use of Adobe programs.
Communicate ideas through team meetings, mood board sessions, design development and critiques.
Develop and edit UF IA event publicity, logos, and marketing materials and advertisements, including, but not limited to:
- Launch into IA event graphic materials: postcard, save the date, agenda, signage, nametags, t-shirts, etc.
- Catalyst event graphic materials: booklet, save the date, agenda, itinerary, glass certificates, signage, nametags, etc.
- Summit event graphic materials: save the date, signage, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
- Special projects like murals, signage, social media assignments, marketing campaigns, etc
PowerPoint Presentations for:
- Recruitment
- Preview
- Discover IA
- Overview
- Events such as Launch, Catalyst, Summit, and more
Design IA social media graphics in Adobe.
Annual redesign of Annual Report.
Web Graphic Elements; resize and reformat designs and photographs for web and emails.
Correspond with printing companies (Alta, etc.) on print projects such as brochures, posters, booklets, recruitment materials, and ads; screen to print color knowledge, choose paper types and sizes, approve proofs with team, etc.
Offer support to the IA team for major events, some of which may take place after 5pm or a Saturday. These include but are not limited to: Launch, Summit, or Catalyst.
Participate in staff interviews.
Provide front desk and phone coverage as needed to assist the Administrative Assistant and IA Ambassadors.

| Minimum Requirements: |
· This position is open to all non-IA Minor students who are eligible to work on campus, and maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average
· Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University of Florida
· Registered UF students are employed on a part-time basis
· Work schedule that allows for an office presence 4 - 5 days a week for 10 - 15 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
· Able to commit at least two-three consecutive semesters to the position
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
