Job Description:

Two postdoctoral researcher positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Kim (https://pharmacy.ufl.edu/profile/kim-sarah/) to apply modeling and simulation approaches to optimize clinical trial designs for neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders. Postdoctoral researchers will engage in multiple projects focused on developing data-driven disease-drug-trial modeling and simulation platforms, as well as AI-assisted analytical and informatics tools.

These are one-year initial appointments with the potential for renewal for additional year(s), contingent upon performance and available funding.

Required Qualifications:
  • Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, mathematics, statistics, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or a related biomedical or computational science field, and have relevant research experience.
  • Experience in manuscript preparation and submission is required. Effective written and verbal communication skills are expected.
Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of MonolixSuite, R Shiny, and Python is highly desirable.
