OPS Research Assistant

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health sciences, biology, public health) or a combination of education and relevant experience

The UF Congenital Heart Center is seeking an OPS Research Assistant to support the surgical team during a period of increased research activity and publication demands.

This role will assist with literature reviews, data organization, manuscript preparation, and coordination of submission timelines. The position plays a key role in ensuring ongoing research and publication efforts continue efficiently while clinical teams remain focused on patient care, education, and surgical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clinical research activities, including data abstraction, chart review, and study-related documentation
• Organize and manage research data
• Assist with manuscript drafting, editing, and formatting
• Support submission processes and track publication timelines
