UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry-level Salesforce Administrator to join Applications, Development, and Integrations (ADI), a unit within UFIT.
UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.
The Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Team within ADI is responsible for the campus-wide, enterprise Salesforce org which is used by a wide variety of offices to manage and enhance support provided to students, staff, and faculty. The offices use Salesforce for a wide range of case management scenarios, event management, and communications as well as for unit-specific business processes. Salesforce integrates closely with other enterprise systems such as the enterprise human resource system, the student information system, and other campus-wide systems. On the CRM Team we strive to be nimble yet stable and to help offices be more efficient and effective in how they serve the members of our university community.
As an entry-level Salesforce Administrator, this position will play a vital role helping to support and expand the enterprise Salesforce org. We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us continually improve and enhance the the platform working with other team members to gather requirements and feedback and to design best practice solutions. This position will also interact with our campus-wide user base including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to continue learning. This position should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes to translate them into technical solutions.
Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
- All aspects of user management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
- User support tickets and cases
- Identifying and gathering requirements from users and stakeholders
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
- Monitoring user adoption
- User training and the creation of training materials
