Financial Analyst II

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

This person will support the University’s internal loan program and various other duties in the Office of the Treasurer.  Specific duties include:

• Responsible for preparing pro-forma financial statements to support the University’s internal loan program.  Calculates and monitors the University’s financial profile by performing financial ratio analysis. Reviews financial models prepared by the Direct Support Organizations such as UF Health and UAA, analyzing multi-year accounting data and other information to make projections for use in financial planning. Projects future trends, prepares long-range operational forecasts, and conducts scenario analyses
• Responsible for the University’s daily cash process, allocation of interest earnings, and other financial and accounting functions in support of the Treasury Office.  Create and maintain procedures on critical functions
• Create financial reports to inform financial decision making.  Use financial systems and work collaboratively with other areas within the University (e.g. controller, budget, etc.), to create and maintain data sets to inform financial reporting
• Preparing Presentations - Prepare materials associated with bond financings, including documents and rating agency materials. Assists in preparing presentations for the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee including helping to develop new reporting models
• Use the University’s Treasury Management system (Kyriba) and ERP (Workday) to assist in the various processes discussed in this section. 
• Assist as needed with special project financial analysis

$70,000-$80,000, commensurate with education and experience

Strongly preferred bachelor’s degree in finance

Accounting experience

Microsoft Excel, Treasury Management System, and/or Workday experience

Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to work with individuals on multiple levels
