A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Program Manager of Bar Support helps provide strategic support for the Levin College of Law's academic success and bar readiness program, in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Academic Success and the Dean of Students, assisting in the assessment, enhancement, and ongoing development of program components to support students and graduates from matriculation through bar admission. The Program Manager works closely with faculty, administrators, staff, alumni, and external partners to identify and support students at risk of bar exam underperformance; helps design and deliver workshops, programs, and resources that promote student achievement, professional development, bar readiness, and licensure success; and supports the program's alignment with evolving accreditation standards and licensure requirements, including the NextGen bar exam. The Program Manager teaches academic success and/or bar preparation coursework, provides individualized advising and coaching to students and graduates, and contributes substantially to the structure and delivery of the Law School's bar readiness program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Student Advising, Coaching & Bar Exam Preparation:

The Program Manager provides individualized academic advising, coaching, and bar exam preparation support to law students and graduates, including those identified as at risk of underperformance. Working with faculty, administrators, staff, alumni, and external partners, the Program Manager helps identify students at risk of bar exam underperformance and connects them with appropriate resources and support.

Teaching, Curriculum & Program Delivery

The Program Manager teaches one or more academic success and/or bar preparation courses each year and designs and delivers workshops, seminars, and resources on study strategies, exam-taking skills, substantive bar subjects, and professional development. The Program Manager contributes substantially to the structure and delivery of the Law School's bar readiness program.

Program Strategy, Data Analysis & Compliance  

The Program Manager assists in the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Law School's academic success and bar readiness program. This includes analyzing student performance data (e.g., grades, bar results, practice exam scores) to identify at-risk students and evaluate program effectiveness; monitoring developments in bar admission requirements, including the transition to the NextGen bar exam; helping ensure program alignment with accreditation standards; and maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on program outcomes.

Collaboration, External Relations & Other Duties

The Program Manager collaborates with faculty, administrators, and staff to integrate academic success principles into the broader curriculum, and builds and maintains relationships with alumni, bar preparation vendors, and other external partners. The College of Law is growing and changing daily, and all College of Law community members, including the Program Manager, are expected to perform other duties as assigned in furtherance of the Law School's academic success mission.

$90,000 minimum

• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Admission to a State Bar

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Florida Bar preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated experience in academic support, bar preparation, legal education, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of bar exam content, format, and study methodologies
• Excellent teaching, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and empathetically with a diverse student population
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience teaching in a law school academic success or bar preparation program
• Familiarity with the NextGen bar exam and current trends in bar licensure
• Experience analyzing student performance and outcomes data
• Experience developing curricula or programmatic content
