Job Description:

Operational Administration and Program Support

Under the direction of the Program Director, coordinate and support the daily administrative and operational functions of the Wild Turkey Initiative and UF Game Lab. Serve as the primary liaison with departmental staff to coordinator program specific fiscal, human resources, procurement, and operational activities; monitor program funds and inventories; coordinate space, facilities, assets, and vehicle records; facilitate meetings and project tracking; and provide administrative support for personnel actions, reporting, and program operations.

Travel, Event Planning, and Community Engagement

Coordinate travel arrangements and related documentation for program personnel and monitor travel requests through completion. Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, workshops, conferences, outreach events, and stakeholder activities, including event logistics, registration, communications, promotional materials, and participant support.

Communications, Marketing, and Outreach

Support program visibility and engagement by developing and maintaining communication materials, marketing resources, mailing lists, and branding assets. Create and manage content for websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and outreach campaigns while promoting program accomplishments, activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Training, Compliance, and Other Duties

Maintain knowledge of University, state, and federal policies and ensure compliance with applicable procedures and requirements. Communicate policy updates to program personnel, participate in professional development opportunities, and perform special projects and other duties as assigned in support of program and departmental goals.

Expected Salary:

$55,000.00 commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Advanced digital media skills, including video, print, and web design skills, are preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs is strongly preferred. Should have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. Should be proficient with several social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Strong organizational skills are strongly preferred. Should have experience organizing efficient and effective organizational workflow, especially through use of Microsoft Teams. Should be self-motivated and able to follow through on necessary responsibilities and tasks.
