Classification Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description:

Oversees planning, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining records for the DPD and DI programs, including program development, assessment, and ACEND accreditation.  Collects, organizes, analyzes, and maintains data and documentation required for ACEND annual reports, self-studies, program assessments, and internal and external reviews. Supports the program directors with interpretation and implementation of ACEND Accreditation Standards and assists with the evaluation of program policies, curriculum, competencies, and student learning outcomes. Identifies and recommends opportunities for program enhancement, quality improvement, and growth. Coordinates the development and maintenance of supervised practice affiliations and experiential learning opportunities for the DI program.

Coordinates student support services and program operations for the undergraduate Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and graduate Dietetic Internship (DI) programs. Communicates with students regarding program requirements, policies, deadlines, and professional development opportunities. Provides advanced guidance and support to dietetics students on program processes and requirements. Coordinates DI supervised practice scheduling and serves as a liaison with preceptors and affiliated sites. Monitors student progress and completion of program requirements and supports the review and tracking of student assignments and program milestones. Supports recruitment, admissions activities, orientations, open houses, and other student engagement initiatives for both dietetics programs.

Coordinates recruitment, outreach, and communication activities for the department's Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and Dietetic Internship (DI) programs. Maintains and updates program websites to ensure information related to admissions, curriculum, accreditation, deadlines, policies, and student resources is accurate and current. Develops and coordinates program-related communications and social media content in collaboration with departmental communications personnel. Promotes program initiatives, recruitment events, open houses, student and alumni achievements, and other outreach activities. Serves as a point of contact for prospective students, current students, alumni, preceptors, and affiliated partners, providing information and support regarding program opportunities and requirements.

 

Expected Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000; Commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Preferred:

Experience with an ACEND-accredited DPD, DI/SPE, CP, or other dietetics education program; experience with accreditation, student records, program assessment, recruitment, or supervised practice coordination.
