Primary responsibilities will be to our CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program. HDOSE is a collaborative, energetic community committed to preparing quality scholar practitioners. This 12-month position will have program and clinical administration responsibilities in the Counselor Education Program, coordinating Practicum and Internship (P & I). A Master’s degree in professional counseling from a CACREP-accredited program is required. Roles and responsibilities include: coordinating school and community-based practicum and internship placements; enhancing partnerships with local community agencies, private practices, and schools; providing ongoing professional development for site supervisors and facilitating data collection, program assessment and reporting (e.g. CACREP). This team member will also assist in projects that relate to our ongoing cutting-edge research directions, including finite element modeling, positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI), magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion imaging, computed tomography (CT), and data visualization tools for neuroimaging. The individual will be expected to interact with other teams to facilitate program activities and to meet deadlines or resolve technical problems both independently and collaboratively. The OPS Medical Scientist will be expected to interact with students who work on relevant projects in data analysis methods.
